Men masquerade as police officers to invade Malden home

MALDEN, Mass. -- A man claimed some counterfeit cops terrorized him.

The 50-year-old Malden resident said three men showed up in a black, unmarked cop car. After telling the victim that they were with the Malden Police Department, the fake officers allegedly then handcuffed the resident and ransacked his home at 44 Boylston St.

Yet the bogus policemen did not take anything from the home and never produced any weapons. They even removed the handcuffs from the victim before leaving

The suspects -- two black men and one white male -- are still at large.


Counterfeit cops? Shi'ite Death Squad? Or a warrantless search by federal agents?

3. I saw the guy on Ch 7, he was freaked out. They cuffed him, and then released him, he said.

What would be funny is if he told his old lady that he'd clean the house while she was away, and he pigged the joint out and didn't have time to do the housework, so he faked the whole thing...

Of course, I'm not suggesting that happened, it's just one of those warped ideas I get in my head on occasion!!!
