MIDDLEBORO, Mass. -- Apparently, some Bay State crooks think that one of the most popular DVDs on sale is now free.
Video stores across the commonwealth say copies of "Borat" are flying off the shelves, but people aren't paying for them.
Store managers say that it has gotten so bad that they're forced to take some extreme measures.

According to a spokesperson from Hollywood Video, two videos have been stolen from their Fall River store, 12 videos from their Wareham store, and 100 videos from their Middleboro store.
One store manager said that for the first time ever, they have had to put all "Borat" DVDs behind the counter. After store employees patrolled the stores more closely, all of the thefts stopped.
