| Plymouth Memorial Vigil cancelled please let your contacts know. |
|
(Received via email - this event was scheduled for 3.17.2007.)
Dear Friends: It is with regret that I must tell you that our vigil has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for later in the spring. Your efforts were really important in this cause and I hope that you will join us in the spring. Ramiro Rivera made us 200 markers that we will use someday I know. They can be borrowed as they are small and can be transported. Because Ramiro put metal prongs at the base, we can use this on grass without "hurting" the soil: the technical term is "aeration". Something amazing happened in our dialogue and we have now have a focused mission that gives us hope. This is so much better than the despair with which we were viewing this unholy war. Please spread the word to your email contacts including Billy S. from Veterans for Peace on the Cape and the network for Massachusetts Families Speak Out. The dialogue will continue on how to best serve the needs of the soldiers. Senior Octagenian, and Veteran, Alba Thompson has been lobbying for a clinic in Plymouth. I understand that this has been been approved but not yet funded. Let's get on board and support this to the max. The dialogue must continue on how to best serve the yong men and women whose needs will be great. The dialogue must continue on how to best help the people of Iraq whose people are as helpless in their situation as we are in our political situation. In peace. Irene
