Saugus family learns their son is among the victim's at VA Tech massacre

UNDATED -- Lynette Alameddine left countless messages on her son's cell phone.

She spoke with his roommate and all of her friends.

And then she got the one phone call she didn't want -- the one saying he was one of the victims at Virginia Tech.

A student with his entire life ahead of him, Lynette Alameddine receives the worst possible news about her son - Virginia Tech student Ross.

It was hours before Lynette knew for sure. Those hours spent glued to the television -- making frantic phone calls, Lynette knew Ross was in his French class in the ill-fated Norris Hall.
