I hope this is the correct place to ask this question.
I haven't flown since before 9/11, and am wondering how much time to allow at Logan prior to my flight, i.e. my flight is 1:45pm. I won't be parking there, arriving by P&B bus.
Thanks for any help.

| 1. I usually try for 1.5 hours |

It depends on if you have baggage to check and domestic vs international also.
If you can check in on line before hand and have only carry on 1 hour might be fine.

| 2. Logan is such a mess, if I were you, I'd get there 2 hours |

before domestic flight, 3 for international. The last time we flew out of Logan (Dec 06) the US air site told us to be there 3 hours early....and that was for domestic flight, from Boston to DC, then to Indiana. It was excessive but we were there 2 hours before. Glad we did because the US air lines were huge. Check your airline's web site. A lot depends on the time of day and which terminal. I'd rather be early than be caught in horrible Boston traffic and be late. If you are using P & B, you must be coming from the South Shore, we came from North and parked in one of the off airport sites and took the shuttle in. With a coupon we got on-line, the rate was not bad. Have a great trip.

Rather kill the time there than worrying about getting stuck in traffic, terminal congestion, etc. (plus we're novices at navigating the system)
