'Creepy Old Man' charged with statutory rape

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- A 34-year-old Berkshire County resident who calls himself 'Creepy Old Man' on his MySpace page is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

Douglas Weed was arraigned yesterday in Central Berkshire District Court on two counts of statutory rape.

A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf and he was ordered held on $25,000 bond.

Police say the alleged victim identified Weed by his picture on his MySpace page.
