BRAINTREE, Mass. -- A northbound MBTA commuter train carrying 70 passengers collided on Wednesday with the rear end of a truck in an intersection, a spokesman said.
No injuries were reported, MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said.
He said the truck's rear end was in the crossing, which has gates, lights and bells, when the crash occurred. He did not know what type of truck was involved.
A section of track was closed while authorities investigated, Pesaturo said. He could not say when it would reopen.
