BROCKTON, Mass. -- An old Brockton park has a brand new look after volunteers created a playground in one day.

The project used funds from Build-A-Bear, expertise from playground company KaBOOM and children's drawings from the Boys and Girls Club.
"Because this play space was really not in the best of shape and now they are going to have a play space they deserve and they will also have a place that they designed," said Sue Spille, of the Boys and Girls Club. "We looked at the pictures that the kids drew and we tried to get equipment that matched their imagination."
Even the city's police chief helped out with the project.
"They talk about making certain that a playground is in walking distance of every child. There are a lot of children in the neighborhood, so it makes a lot of sense," said Jass Stewart. http://www.jassstewart.com/
