The Enterprise, Brockton's primary newspaper, has "unreservedly" endorsed Jass Stewart's vision for the city and his election as mayor.
There's an amazing success story waiting to unfold in Brockton.
On Tuesday voters have the opportunity to empower the person who can help turn that positive vision into tangible reality.
Jass Stewart has the plan, the professionalism and the demeanor to lead Brockton through its current challenges and into a new world of opportunities.
Referring to the current mayor, James Harrington, as a "placeholder" who has kept the city "functioning" but not growing, the endorsement calls for the change and innovation that Stewart has outlined in his "5-point plus plan" - accountability, education, jobs, safety, ownership plus leadership. The paper believes that Stewart will bring a new era to Brockton and allow it to become a city this region can once again be proud of.
On Tuesday, we can only hope that Brockton residents will step up to the plate and usher in the new perspective and energy that Jass will bring.
