BOSTON -- Students at a Duxbury school were evacuated Tuesday after a two-alarm fire broke out in the building.
The fire broke out at the Bay Farm Montessori School at 145 Loring Road in Duxbury just before noon on Tuesday.
The children were evacuated to an adjacent building. No injuries were reported.
According to the school's Web site, the Bay Farm Montessori Academy enrolls more than 250 students ranging in age from 1 to 12 years old. The school employs about 42 faculty members and has four buildings.

WEB EXTRA: Fire damages Duxbury school

DUXBURY A fire at the Bay Farm Montessori Academy this morning resulted in some damage to buildings but all the students were safe.
The fire department responded to the fire alarm and found a fire they believe started in the attic, said Duxbury Fire Chief Kevin Nord.
‘‘Everybody was safely evacuated,’’ said Nord. ‘‘The teachers did a great job.’’
Nord said that an investigation was underway to determine the cause of the fire.
