BROCKTON - A suspicious package at a Belmont Street mental health clinic forced police to re-route traffic and order people out of several nearby buildings Tuesday morning.
Lt. Robert F. Sergio said the state police bomb squad, called to the scene, removed the package
and discovered “it was a legitimate object.”<snip>
Authorities ordered people out of the Belmont Street building and other nearby buildings, including the Plymouth County district attorney’s office across the street.
