Which right wing talk radio host in Boston is the worst- Jay Severen, Michael Graham or Howie Carr?

I would say 95% of talk radio in Boston is far right wing.
The main 3 local right wingers on the radio seem to be Jay Severen, Michael Graham and Howie Carr. Which one do you think is the slimiest?
Graham is smarmy and usually wrong, and Carr is not very bright, so I wonder if anybody takes him seriously.
Graham and Carr write for the Boston Herald, so their radical right wing views simply parrot the views of that sad excuse of a newspaper.

The worst of the worst, in my opinion is Jay Severen.

Jay Severen is an oddity, as ones first impression of him would be that he is an intelligent and articulate man. But does he use reason and logic to cite examples on why he thinks Conservative ideology is superior to Liberal ideology? Not all all. He calls most liberals communists. He asserts it's impossible for a liberal to be a patriot.
Severen engages in childish name calling, like an impetuous 13 year old. He calls Hillary Clinton the most vile things, like 'bitch', 'fatass', 'skank', 'ho', and even worse things. Is this the best thing right wingers can do- call people names?
He considers all Muslims to be terrorists, doesn't like gays , black people or immigrants.

He refers to Obama as "Hussein OSAMA."

Severen is usually wrong in his predictions (such as Iraq having WMD, Mittens being the next Prez, etc), and will seldom if ever admit to having been wrong.

But I did find amusement in Severen's near meltdown when Mittens dropped out of the race. He turned his venom on McCain, and actually conceded at Republican defeat, asserting the Democrats will win this election. There were a few times I thought Jay was going to cry because of Mitten's departure.

But THE most disturbing aspect of Severen is that he often boasts that women have always found him irresistible, and his sexual prowess when single could seldom be matched.

I will always remember Severin crowing, thumbing his nose and showing his pasty-white slimy little ass the day after George W. Bush was re-elected, gloating about how Democrats were on the run, the right-wing was going to remake the Supreme Court, liberalism was dead, yada yada yada. That's why it was such a pleasure to see Mittens go down and hear the ensuing little shrieks of rage from Severin and the other shits - of course the biggest asshole in the race was going to attract the biggest assholes on the AM dial.

I literally can't even stand to listen to this disgusting piece of shit; his smug little "I'm always right, and I'm smarter than anyone else" nonsense isn't worth hearing. In real life if he were backhanded and driven against a wall by any liberal he'd be crying like a baby - just like the rest of the talk radio turds, paid to spew bullshit for hours.

What I love about Severin is how he pretends to be some free-thinker who seeks reasonable answers - and yet somehow, some way, MAGICALLY all of his so-called "reasoning" leads him to enthusiastically fellate the right-wing on the air, each and every time. Nope, no chance he might actually say or think something truly "independent." He'll just get on his knees and open wide for whatever the RNC is babbling about lately.

I know almost nothing about Graham. Carr is just some mindless blue collar piece of crap (I remember seeing him and his wife at Disney World many years ago; I pointed him out to my grandmother, another good liberal like me, telling her "That guy is a Republican blowhard on Boston radio. Howie Carr's wife saw me pointing at her husband and whispering to my grandmother and directed such a look of hatred at me that I almost felt sorry for him, being chained to a creature like that). I'd agree with you that Severin is the worst of the bunch. As someone who is a true intellectual, unlike him, I really hate these types who claim their so-called philosophy is based on "reason" or "seeking truth" when in reality they are just shills for their corporate masters.

3. Agreed - Severin, with Graham a close second.

Jay Severin (James Severino III) is a vile, dirty, piece of crap - a rust-covered chrome plated turd, if you will.  He thinks he's some sort of flaming stud and babe magnet, and even though in his 50's he is probably found humping his hand on Saturday nights. On TV appearances he sits in front of the camera oh so properly dressed in a powder blue cashmere sweater and nice slacks and loafers and looks like Little Lord Fauntleroy. On the radio he turns back into a hate-spewing monster, hiding safely behind his spittle-covered microphone. Severin's head was so far up Mitt Romney's ass during the primaries that he had to learn to breathe through his toenails. Talk about talent! It was fun to listen to him whine and cry when Mitt suspended his campaign. Severin (pronounced ServesVenom) is dirt, period.

Michael (Michelle?) Graham is a preppy looking carpetbagger (as is Severin, only from Long Island) fresh up from South Carolina (why did they come here, if they hate Massachusetts so much?) who was affiliated with the republican party at one time or another.  He giggles and laughs like a 4-year-old with a freshly filled diaper and generally serves as pull-cord recording for the right wing.  He sucks, but the knuckle-dragging rightwingers love his kind of cheerleading.  Rumor has it he wears a poodle skirt and white bucs in the studio.

Howie Carr can be tolerable at times, he's been here for a long time, and he's not as bitter and venemous as the other two newbies on the Boston talk scene, but he's definiately a bottom feeder.  Carr got involved with (read: he knocked up) the current wife before his divorce from wife 1, but he's a pillar of family values.

5. Jay Severen is as racist as they come

jay Severen recently said if Obama isn't elected, 'the streets of America will look like Kenya, and be filled with black rioters and it will make the Rodney king riots look like a picnic in comparison'.

Jesus, Severen is the biggest racist- Ever hear Severen's bullshit assertion that he marched in favor of civil rights? Can you picture a right wing asshole like Jay Severen marching for a progressive cause like civil rights? The Civil Rights movement stood for everything he and other right wing filth find offensive- The equality of all, the end of oppression, the end of exploitation. The guy's racism is real- but of course he accuses liberals of being racist...

He asserts that the only reason black people will vote for Obama-is because he's black....

Oh, the mendacity: Another day, another new controversy about a rightwing talk show host. This time it’s Jay Severin III, a former GOP operative who worked on the presidential campaigns of George I and Pat Buchanan, among others, and who hosts a radio show in Boston that is (was?) set to go national.

Severin has been exposed for lying about his achievements, including claiming several times on the record that he had won a Pulitzer Prize. He has also been the target recently of allegations of behavior unbecoming of a married man and father that cast a new light on statements he made in the 1990’s about the moral fitness of others.

The revelations of extreme resume padding came on the same day that Infinity Broadcasting announced they had signed a deal with Severin to host a nationally syndicated talk show. Oops!

But nationally syndicated and clinically insane closet case (and bigoted scumbag) Michael Savage can unfortunately be heard on the Boston airwaves- he is the worst of the worst, even though he isn't local..I can't take that man seriously- he clearly suffers from mental illness...

As for the local right wing stool samples, Severen is a true floater- He thinks he's charming and intelligent- the funny thing is every single political predication he has made has been wrong- These days the best he can come up with is calling liberals 'communists'.

He's talking about how Obama's first priority as President will be to shut down talk radio (LOL!). Meanwhile, I listened to 3 hours of his show today (shaudenfraude!) just to hear him cry over the Colin Powell endorsement (racism! racist! bwah!). He repeated himself AT LEAST twice per hour (talking over and over about how more people in England attend mosques than protestant church (egads the horror!) and took three calls from listeners. Three! I would say about 70-75% of the three hour block was commercials. Jay has almost no audience left, it's pretty obvious. Probably 90% of his audience are moderate to liberals who love to hear him whine and cry. What a pathetic, hysterical jackass. Loser. Ugly, liver-spotted small-dicked fool with receding hair. 26. Severen getting to be a waste of time

When I first started listening to Jay he sounded like he was fair and had a head on his shoulders. As of late he is getting boring because he is constantly negative and only cares about his ratings.

He says is audience is “Boston’s Best and Brightest”. Well he only says that to get people to call in. The callers really think their opinions make a difference. They only serve to allow Jay to run off at the mouth and push his only agenda. His agenda is to use his “wordsmith” ability to argue and ridicule people. And his callers fall into the trap by continuing to call in.

He constantly loves to push in our faces how he pays 50% in income taxes. That’s his way of bragging about how much he makes. Why does he make so much? Because the listeners of Boston are dumb enough to keep him on the air, like his partner-in crime, Michael Graham. Michael is nothing but a whiner. They both brag about how they support the military personnel. Let me tell you, after 33 years in the Air Force, they stand out as phonies, loud-and-clear.

I for one have stopped listening to Jay because I refuse to feed his ego and will not listen to a commentator who changes his stance daily, only to keep his ratings up. Does anyone really know what this guy stands for? I don’t.

I never listen to radio, it's so intrusive, and the mute button doesn't work when I am driving.

Here's some suggestions if you feel you have to listen.

Go to the library and take out CD's or talking books.
Tune into FM classical music
Tune into NPR news
bring a couple of your favorite CD's along each trip.

Get a subscription to XM radio or someting, and listen to C-Span

Talk on your hands-free phone while driving.

Any of these alternatives is better for your brain than any of the dorks mentioned in the OP's question.
