THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF TAUNTON...
WEST CENTRAL PLYMOUTH COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS...

* UNTIL 500 PM EDT

* AT 418 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO NEAR DIGHTON...
OR 7 MILES SOUTHWEST OF TAUNTON...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 34 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
FREETOWN AND TAUNTON BY 430 PM EDT...
RAYNHAM BY 435 PM EDT...
MIDDLEBOROUGH AND LAKEVILLE BY 440 PM EDT...
MIDDLEBOROUGH AND 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF BRIDGEWATER BY 445 PM EDT...
CARVER BY 455 PM EDT...


HEAVY RAIN MAY OBSCURE THIS TORNADO. TAKE COVER NOW! IF YOU WAIT TO
SEE OR HEAR IT COMING...IT MAY BE TOO LATE TO GET TO A SAFE PLACE.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS
AVAILABLE...GO TO AN INTERIOR HALLWAY OR SMALL ROOM THE LOWEST FLOOR.
USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO COVER YOUR BODY. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

ABANDON MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES AND GET TO A STRONG BUILDING. IF NO
