North Shore DUers, help me out. I have just found out that I will be

host to 2 additional kids for the 10 day period Thursday this week thru July 5th. I desperately need a clean double(full) size mattress and don't have the $$$ to go to the regular mattress stores and buy one.

Anyone have a clean, in good condition full size that they were thinking of selling at a fair price? I would have to do this between today and tomorrow.

Down to the wire. Posted on craigslist too. Hope someone has a surplus. I plan on giving it to a needy family I know in Salem when they leave so it needs to be nice enough to pass along. I have an air mattress but am still short bedding for two.

PM me if you can help please. Today or Wednesday only, Thursday is arrival day. I don't want them to know what I am up to.

A friend called someone she knows who is moving and Bingo, I have a mattress. Just picked it up and will have someone help me ge it out of the car tomorrow.

The kids can sleep on this in the den and think the are camping out.

3. How nice of you to ask. Everyone had a great time, in spite

of the weather, we charged ahead with most of our "to do's". Canceled Sturbridge Village, saving that for next get together. The kids loved Old Ironsides and the battleship that is also tied up at Charlestown. The Museum was great for big and little folks.

Pioneer Village in Salem is open again, not very large but nice. Sort of a tiny Plymouth. Great picnic park next to it.

It was the 4th weekend so there were great things to do in town. We have a 4 day festival every year with a kids parade, arts and crafts, model boat races at a local pond. You buy and decorate your little boat and races are held by age groups. Fireworks Sat PM, everyone off to their homes Sunday.

It was a great time for the family, sleeping arrangements worked perfectly.
