Seven arrested in raid on Kingston's Hillside Social Club
KINGSTON —
Seven people from Plymouth, Carver, Kingston and Duxbury will be arraigned Monday in Plymouth District Court following a raid on Friday night at the Hillside Social Club.
The raid followed an investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics from within the club, Kingston Police Det. Sgt. Robert C. Wells said.

About three dozen people were inside when police arrived just after 5 p.m. with a search warrant, authorities said. The club was cleared out by 8:30 p.m., and officers inside were counting cash that had been seized.
The club, a fixture in town for years, is the site of periodic social functions. When the club in 2005 asked the town for a license to serve alcohol in its outdoor pavilion, several neighbors attended a meeting to speak in support of the club.
