My ancestors on my mother's side are from Mass. They came to Maine in the mid 1700's for coastal land grants to help get the fishing industry going all along the long Maine coast.

My great grandfather was a Harvard graduate (Brown BA, Harvard MA, Brown PhD) and professor of political science and history at Wheaton College in Norton. (He thought FDR was awesome.) My grandmother is a Wheaton grad. I graduated from Westfield State and AIC out in Western Mass.
I love the Pioneer Valley. We have several friends and cousins in MA, and Boston is wonderful. Mass. is a great state.
