Cahill Alleges Dirty Tricks in Lawsuit

In a "politically explosive lawsuit," Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Tim Cahill (I) "accuses his former top strategists and aides of conspiring to sabotage his candidacy, saying they orchestrated the desertion of his running mate and plotted to give damaging information and internal campaign tactics to the team of GOP rival Charles D. Baker and the Republican Governors Association," the Boston Globe reports.

"The suit says the defendants possessed critical strategic information, including fund-raising plans, advertising schedules, and messaging tactics planned for the final weeks of the race."

1. Ok two things I hope on this.

1.) I hope this gets national play. Love to see GOP dragged through the mud on this.

2.) I hope Tim stays in till the end. It's the only way Patrick wins reelection.

2. I agree with you, mostly, but....

I don't think the people of Mass want Baker, ANY way!!!

But on your other point... national exposure, this might show how low Republicans can go.

Let's face is, Republican candidates for almost ANY office in the nation are people without any ethics.

The fact that Charlie Baker made millions while health care insurance costs more than doubled in Mass. Reason enough to put him in prison for the rest of his life, IMO.

He's nothing but a common grand thief.... ripping off millions just because it's legal to do so.

3. I'm going to respond to my own post... I'm not so sure the people of Mass do NOT

want Baker...

He's gaining in the polls, and this lawsuit from Cahill is a distraction from the real issues.

Baker will kill jobs by the tens of thousands in Mass, and lower taxes for the rich, (Republicans ALWAYS DO THAT!)

I like Cahill better for being a fighter, and I'm sure he will stay in the race until it's over. If Baker wins, (I almost typed "If Banker wins"), Cahill will go to work for a lobbying firm, write a book about the terrible Dem and Republican parties in Mass, and retire. If Patrick wins, Cahill should leave the state, run his daughter for office in a new state, she's the reason he got in in the first place.
