In 38 states, including here in Massachusetts, it's legal to fire someone or deny them employment based on their gender identity or expression. Please join the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition next Thursday, January 27th for a Transgender Equal Rights Action Day and help end this legalized discrimination.
Transgender Equal Rights Action Day
at the MA State House

The Transgender Equal Rights Bill is being refiled and we need you to come to the State House and ask your legislators to Co-Sponsor the Transgender Equal Rights Bill.
What Will Happen at Action Day?
You will stop by the location in the State House (TBD) and pick up briefing sheets about the bill to bring to your State Reps and Senator's offices. You will go to your Reps and Senators offices and ask to speak with someone in the office. Once you have met with folks in the office you will bring your form back to folks at MTPC.
Folks can come anytime between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. If you can't get there before 2:00 p.m., but can make to the State House before 5:00 p.m., email gscott@masstpc.org and we will make arrangements with you.
If you can't attend, please take 2 minutes to call your Representative and Senator and ask them to co-sponsor the "Transgender Equal Rights Bill"
