month since 1888 with the fewest days of sun. No wonder my grass seed rotted. I have yet to buy any flower or veggie flats and am wondering if this year, I should just forget about spending any money on a garden. Any of you fellow Bay Stators feel the same? When is it too late to plant Veggies? I have an area all plotted out with a neighbor. The only thing in the ground as of today are onions and they are popping out of the soggy ground.
I was counting on a crop of beans, tomatoes, lettuce and a few other things. Doesn't look good, does it? Just walking on my grass is a squishy hazard, raining at the moment or not. No sun in my neck of the woods.

It's been rainy every day--and cold as well. I'm still waiting for spring.

| 3. I went to the garden supply store today. Feel sorry for them. |

It took quite a while to find flats that were still healthy looking. There are thousands of flats to be seen but I'd venture that half of them are so over-watered by the constant rain we have had that they are brown and half dead looking. The poor greenhouse people. I know they work hard to get ready for this planting season but their offerings do not look good. I am going to plant what I bought on Thursday...if it does not rain. The next few days are scheduled to be rainy and with thunderstorms. It never seems to end.
I guess I should be thankful that I do not live in the mid-west. My sympathy for all those people who have no home, let alone no garden.
