Massachusetts has the most open statutes of just about any state allowing citizens to place articles on town meeting warrants or referendum questions on election ballots (see my earlier post). It may be too late now to start an initiative to place a referendum question on your May ballot, but it may not be too late to insert a warrant article.
If it is, either think ahead to the September election OR the Fall special town meetings.
