Massachusetts has the most open statutes of just about any state allowing citizens to place articles on town meeting warrants or referendum questions on election ballots (see my earlier post). It may be too late now to start an initiative to place a referendum question on your May ballot, but it may not be too late to insert a warrant article.

If it is, either think ahead to the September election OR the Fall special town meetings.

Get support and bring this to your next town or ward committee meeting.

Get support from your state committee members and bring to the April state party meeting - location details at www.massdems.org

My dem town committee adopted a hybrid Rutland resolution / Conyers resolution (we're asking our rep to co-sponsor) and Feingold resolution (we're asking our two senators to co-sponsor) voted unanimously on 3/20, and will be listed on http://impeachpac.org shortly.
