Contributions or gifts to Kerry Victory 2004 are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Paid for by Kerry Victory 2004, a joint fundraising committee authorized by John Kerry for President, Inc. and the DNC Services Corporation/Democratic National Committee, Inc. The first $2,000 of each contribution from a person will be allocated to John Kerry for President, Inc. and will be considered designated for the primary election. The next $25,000 of each contribution from a person will be allocated to the DNC Services Corporation/Democratic National Committee. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.

I was all excited when I first got the email, until I got to the part about the ticket prices. It's just plain out of my league, financially speaking. :-(
I still haven't gotten caught up from the hit my budget took from going to the state DFL convention in May. (but it was well worth it!) Hopefully, there's enough liberals with better economic circumstances than mine who will show up for this event, it really sounds wonderful!
