Our phone number is unlisted. Their number is: 651-645-0304 and the caller ID read "BushCheney."

I asked how they had gotten it and the woman said, "Honey, I'm just a volunteer and they gave me this sheet with your husband's name on it." (he contributes to a PAC at work that distributes $$ various places - one must have Repub connections)

She asked:

Can the President count on your support in November? (No)

Are you afraid the Democrats will raise taxes as the economy improves? (No)

Are you pro-life, pro-choice or something in between? (None of your business)

She decided to skip the final question, which was,
Do you want to volunteer for Bush/Cheney?

Since my husband wasn't here to answer she said it wouldn't be a valid poll and wanted to know my name (Honey, what's your name?)
I didn't give my name and said goodbye.

I am pro our children being raised in a country that provides a sound education instead of doing every thing it can cut education. Alright, I'm from the south and we may use that as a term of endearment for someone we know. Thing is when I get a call from someone I don't know calling me 'honey' I find it insulting. :grr:

those kinds of questions. Paid callers do. And they may have gotten your number off a voter registration.

Maybe the info in the database you searched was out of date; I've done searches on my friend's numbers and I get their old addresses.

and infospace.com and both gave me the same thing. That's not saying
that either one is accurate though...
