| Sen. & Mrs. Coleman spotted TODAY @ Edina Byerly's |
|
My wife just got back from running some errands, and reports seeing our junior Senator and his (estranged?) wife at the Byerly's in Edina. She was about four feet away from him, but needless to say she didn't say hi.
The only reason I'm reporting it is because it's the first time I've heard of Norm and Laurie being in the same room since election day 2002.

| 1. Yeah I have heard many reports of his running around. Repugs must |
|
have a way of silencing women better. I'm betting it could get ugly if he ever went for Pres or VP though.

| 2. Thousands of politicians have marriages "just for show" |

I don't think it's exclusive to either party, though Democrats are a little less likely to make claims of being champions of moral superiority.

| 3. WHAT? Your wife saw Senator Coleman and she didn't run up to him |
|
and shake his hand and tell him what an honor it was to meet him and...aw screw it. I can't even pretend about something like that. Norm is a smarmy jerk and I am truly embarrassed to be a Minnesotan as long as that bastard is a Senator from this state. He had better be glad that it was your wife and not me that ran into him at Byerly's. I would have had some mighty choice words for him and probably been hauled out by security. That's OK with me. I don't think I could pass up a chance to let Norm know how I truly feel about him. ;)
Did anyone see Norm on TV Sunday morning? I believe it was Tom Hauser's show on channel 5 but I'm not sure on that. I didn't see the whole thing but what I saw of it, ol' Norm really had his ass handed to him. It was great! The guy he was up against ignored Norm whenever Norm tried to (rudely) interrupt him when he was responding to the question. It was hilarious. Norm was forced to shut up, and every time it happened he slunk down further in his chair, like a spoiled brat that wasn't getting all the attention he wanted. I wish I could remember who the guy was that was up against Norm but I can't remember for the life of me. Please pardon the brain lapse as I have been ill with some sort of virus-from-hell that is threatening to kill me and my brain hasn't been working right since last Wednesday. I could still kick Dubya's ass in a debate, mind you, but that's not saying much.

| 4. That would have been the perfect time to wear a Wellstone Tshirt |
|
and make damn sure he saw it.
And to think that this puppet is claiming to represent MN. He's really Senator Bush with flase teeth.
