How is Franken looking for the caucus?

I'm an Oregonian, but I love Franken and sent him what I could last year. MSM are calling it "neck" and neck against Coleman, but I don't trust MSM...duh...

How's the race look from the ground to you Minnestotans...or is that Minnesotians?

1. He will probably get the nomination

I am actually supporting Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer in the caucuses and Mike Ciresi is also given Franken some serious competition for the endorsement, but while it is no sure thing Franken does seem to have the best chance of getting the nomination. If the race between him and Coleman is neck and neck now that definitely looks good for him because a few months ago Coleman had a huge advantage. Franken's chances are quite good.

2. I think Franken has the most name recognition

amongst people who don't follow the caucuses, but Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer has a lot of support among the regular caucus goers.

And it's Minnesotans, btw. :)

Jack is more mature, would really work to end the war in Iraq.

At district 5 Senate candidate debate. Franken said he would attack Iran if needed and that Iran was a threat. Franken is stand-offish from the average people, whereas Jack is one of us.

I think any of the democratic candidate can and will beat Coleman.

I've met Franken, and he's really a smart, impressive guy. Nelson-Pallmeier is probably more progressive on a lot of issues, and I like him, too. But will the name Nelson-Pallmeier fit on a bumper sticker?

showed Coleman beating both Franken and Ciresi by about 5 or 6 % points each.

I think if the election were held today, Coleman would win.

They had a lot of people signing up to caucus for Al. The event was packed wall to wall.
