| Ugh, I happened to watch a bit of Channel 4 this evening |
|
and I was reminded why I've virtually eliminated network TV from my life. What nauseating political ads.

| 1. We now have no TV service (by choice). |
|
We view what we choose on the internet & DVD. I remember a time when there were news programs and there were tabloid shows. Now it's all tabloid.

| 4. I have basic-basic cable so that PBS comes in clearly, and |
|
somehow they left Turner Classic Movies untouched
My Netflix subscription keeps me very happy, too, especially since they carry almost all American and many British TV series.

One more reason to avoid network TV. I don't watch much as it is, and these ads are enough to make me turn it off altogether.
