Updated PNO Bush protest
LET OUR PRESIDENT KNOW HOW WE FEEL ABOUT HIS TAKING US INTO AN ILLEGAL, GHASTLY WAR.

Peace Network plans to protest Bush's visit to Springfield Friday morning by gathering on the back (north) side of the Springfield Expo where he'll likely enter. We will be in front of the parking garage just west of the John Q. Hammons Parkway and Trafficway intersection with signs by 7:45 AM. He is scheduled to arrive around 9:00 AM.

Call your friends and neighbors. It's time patriots took back their country.

According to the Secret Service the parking garage just east of the Expo Center will be open for parking. Based on the information available to us, we will follow the basic plan listed above (from the first email).

It is expected that Bush will enter the rear of the Expo Center from Trafficway, right across the street from Jordan Valley Ice Park. That means his motorcade will have to enter and leave throught the intersection of Trafficway/Benton or Trafficway/Hammons Parkway. We want to have PNO supporters at both intersections so that whichever way he goes, he'll see us. Please understand that the event is fluid and things can change quickly tomorrow morning. We will try to get as close as possible.

Remember that we represent PEACE. Act accordingly. We do not want to get into any verbal or physical altercation with his mis-guided supporters. We're better than that/they...let's show our opposition to Bush's policies but without resorting to violence or problems that take away our message.

WE NEED A LARGE TURNOUT. PLEASE JOIN US!
