| I have more respect for my R state senator than I do McGreevey |
|
Yesterday, I received a response from my state senator, Leonard Connors (Republican-9th District) concerning McGreedy's "Fast Track" legislation, which expedited construction projects, and expressed how both him and the two assemblyman voted against it due to the environmental ramifications, which I agreed were very real and I opposed it greatly.
Doesn't mean I'll be voting for them in the upcoming Senate elections, but just shows you how NJ politics has gotten so crazy.

| 3. Both Connors seem like alright men for Republicans |
|
Leonard and Chris were very much in favor of ethics reform when we were frying up that scumbag John Bennett. I don't live in their district and I still probably wouldn't vote for them, but for Republicans, they seem decent. (One of my assemblymen, Jim Holzapfel, once stated in an interview that "The Democratic Party will not stand", so I think you know what my opinion of him is).

Got all Republicans representing us. State Senator Andrew Ciesla and Assemblymen Jim Holzapfel and David Wolfe. John Bennett was the Senate President who was busted for double-billing the towns he worked for, if you recall. Whatever district he represented voted him out.

| 9. Bennett was a dirt bag. His replacement, Karcher, seems okay. |

| 8. I never like McGreevy, though I voted for him, but I have yet to hear of |
|
a Republican who I would vote for over him, even now.
I will admit that if a Repuke had pulled the same kind of shit as McGreevy pulled, I'd go ballistic.
I really think that Democrats when elected, need to hold themselves to a higher standard. That is the path to winning and that is the path to success. It's why I so admire Rush Holt. You constantly have the feeling that he is in it solely to do the right thing.
I kind of like Codey though. From what I've seen, he seems to have some integrity.
