Y! Group Changes Name to NWNJ Democratic Coalition

To Whom It May Concern:

The NWNJ for Kerry Yahoo! group has run it's course. It served us well during the campaign, but for the past month, it has become clear that the moderator has been the only one posting anything on it. Instead of shutting it down, which would necessarily lose the message archives, the resources it provides, as well as contact with the 37 members subscribed to it; I decided to change it's name to something else that will endure in the Democratic party in this region..

At a brunch in honor of former Congressional candidate Anne Wolfe in Hardwick last week, I heard Howard Burrell announce that he and Roger Hines and the chair of the Morris County Democratic Committee (Lewis Candura, I assume) were forming something called the Northwest New Jersey Democratic Coalition. What could be a better thing to call it?
