Pallone Declares Bid for Senate

The November election served as a wake-up call to those of us who believe in progressive values. President Bush's reelection and the strengthening of Republican majorities in both the House and Senate were understandably disappointing.

But I come away from that election more determined than ever.

For 16 years, I've been fighting for the people of New Jersey's 6th Congressional District, and now I'd like to begin fighting for all the people of our great state. The stakes are simply too high not to expand the fight statewide and that is why I have decided to run for Senate in 2006.
