Given the weeklong state shutdown, how do you feel about Gov. Corzine's ability to put New Jersey on sound financial footing? lower right http://www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=OPINION

about this whole debacle was how the prospect of actually cutting unnecessary spending and *gasp* balancing the budget was never in question. I think the fact that they ultimately decided to raise the sales tax rather than income tax for the highest tax bracket is very telling of Corzine's loyalties.

...remember, they did not endorse him for governor. Time will tell what happens. The week was a debacle, it should have never happened, but now we have to see what will be the outcome of it all. Right now we are all speculating, and I do not believe that Corzine has loyalties to anyone-a big cause of the shutdown-he is very headstrong and stubborn, but approachable. Corzine thinks that his ideas will help-give it a chance already instead of dooming the budget right at its outset like the assholes on 101.5. People that want to complain-go to New York and pay their over-8% sales tax and see how wonderful that is if you hate Corzine so much.
