Aronsohn campaign signs removed from Route 208

There was a fair representation of Paul Aronsohn (democratic canddidate, District 12) signs on Route 208, especially around the Russell Avenue (Wyckoff) and Ewing Avenue (Franklin Lakes) exits' grassy areas -- until this week-end.

I drove up 208 Saturday afternoon, to find plethora, not just sporadic clusters of Scott Garrett and Tom Kean Jr. signs up and down the same territory.

But here's the kicker. At 1 a.m., driving north from Goffle Road (Wyckoff) to Ewing Avenue on 208, I witnessed a car parked on the shoulder, and a figure literally pulling up Aronsohn signs and putting them into an open trunk. I didn't get a license plate number, but I wish I had.

How desperate and how undemocratic.

I placed some Aronsohn signs in my town the other week, and drive by them most every day just to make sure they're still there. I haven't today, though, but it looks like I should.
