5. I feel your pain - Ferguson squeaked through

much to my annoyance.

I now have two fond hopes:

1) now that he's in the minority party in the house, he may be seen as being much less effective locally than he has been.

2) Corzine pulls out a win in '09 (reasonable assumption, I think) and we get rid of these bastardized gerrymandered districts and the few really badly entrenched asses can be tossed out.

One way or t'other, I'm hopeful about the future - just not so much about my own rep.
