What happened to New Jersey?

When I went to bed the senate race had been called for the democrat. I wonder what happened, and I hope it gets caught.

2. I saw a newspaper headline that siad we picked up in

PA, OH, FL, MD, but New Jersey wasn't mentioned. I'm glad the Dem won!!!

So I'm confused, because I thought we had to pick up 5 seats to have control of the Senate.

3. It said that because New Jersey wasn't a pickup, it was a hold...

we held seats in Maryland and New Jersey. Those weren't pickups.

And we actually need six pickups to win. We won Penn., Rhode Island, Ohio and Missouri last night. Montana and Virginia sstill hang in the balance, but the Dem is favored in both races.
