He is also beloved throughout much of the district. He'll be there as long as he wants to as long as the Democrats run as awful of a campaign as they did last year. Even with everything in their favor, Dems will have a very tough time unseating this guy.

If the Bergen Dems weren't so distracted by Ferriero(Aronsohn was his boy) and his machinations. It would also be a big help if Sussex and Warren would just try to have a functioning Democratic Party.

Sam Greenfield on WWRL read my IM on air when he was interviewing Bill Pascral. Said I was willing to move two blocks to live in Paterson to have Pascral as my rep versus Scott Garrett, "a rightwing opportunist".
