The drums of peace took to the road Tuesday afternoon when about 250 people protesting the Iraq War took an improvised detour onto Route 18, stalling traffic on the state road. Following a rally at Voorhees Mall attended by 400 or so Rutgers University students and activists, a smaller contingent walked to the U.S. Marine Corps recruiting station at New and George streets. "This is what democracy looks like!" the protesters chanted.
