1. Just finished watching it

Koppel's repeated attempts to discredit him were disgusting, but predictable. Bruce held is own though. I loved his statement about how we've move far away from "mainstream American values". Especially considering how Bush/Cheney and the rabid Republicans always try to demonize the left as being 'out of the mainstream'.

2. Koppel was rude and dismissive

When Koppel/Nightline almost went off the air a couple of years ago,
I really supported the drive to keep it....like a lot of progressive Democrats. However, Koppel seems to be tiring of the job or has some other proplems as he appears to have changed in attitude and presntation....for the worse.

He needs to take some more vacation days and let Chris have the show.
