-There is over 1 million dollars in the NJ state Dem. Fund. Any of that can be transferred -without limit- to the Federal NJ Fund for Kerry. -John Bartlett's KerryCore raised $1000s of dollars for the NJ Federal account. -Senators Lautenberg and Corzine donated together - $100,000 to that Federal campaign -The state thus far has only released $5000.

www.elec.state.nj.us to access state campaign finance reports. Also fec.gov for their federal account.
Keep in mind that there is a gubernatorial race next year and state legislative races - it's likely that they're saving up for what will likely be a very media-heavy race. Frankly, I think KE04 and the DNC have enough money. The DSC only gave $5,000 because NJ is not a swing state and there is no reason to waste the resources. I don't care what people or polls are saying, NJ will go BLUE for Kerry on Nov. 2.
The REAL question is why the DSC hasn't given to help Dem. congressional challengers like Anne Wolfe, Steve Brozak and Amy Vasquez who are running against out-of-touch right-wing wackadoos???
