| 2. Counties using electronic voting machines |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-20-04 06:35 PM by Rumpole
All except: Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex and Monmouth. I don't how many polling places are involved, and I know of no plans for independent 3rd parties to test the machines or to observe. I have heard, however, that rep's of both major parties are allowed to observe the tests.
FWIW: There are about 7500 electronic voting machines in inventory.
And the election laws refer only to tests of ballot card counters.

| 3. I hope they do realistic tests on election day, and |
|
don't just run the self-test, or try it out before the election in "testing" mode.
