1. It was a terrific meet-up -- what's next?

Hi fricaseed! It was a great meetup, and it was wonderful to know that there are so many impassioned, progressive people who want to take back our country!

What would you guess was the turnout? I think there must have been at least 75 people there when I left.

I just wonder whether we can harness all that energy, or are we strictly a web based community?

Can we somehow contribute to the anti-war, "reality based" movement? On a loca level, now that the West Side stadium is almost dead, can we drive a stake through its heart to make sure it's good and dead? Can we help kill the truly awful Knicks stadium plan for downtown Brooklyn?

Also special thanks to Liontamer for keeping the thread alive for us to have the meetup!
