Read this thread posted by Tinoire...I think it's a fantastic idea. We should be able to organize through this forum. I for one would be happy to organize or help with anyone's plans for something in the Durham/Chapel Hill area. LET'S DO THIS!! :bounce:

Read Tinoire's thread. She lays it all out much better than I could. Then I guess decide if it's something you'd be interested in participating in, and help get people involved. The way I see it, this area is full of activists so it shouldn't be exclusively a DU thing, but this would at least be a good place to get ye olde proverbial ball a-rollin...

I was jumping ahead to the marketing angle. That it might be easier for us to get care package supplies, being in such a big military state.

I wonder if it would be easier to give folks a shopping list as they enter the store and please would they buy 1 or two items to donate?
