| Kerry Campaign is looking at buying ad time on NC TV |
|
Edited on Thu May-06-04 05:25 PM by supernova
for May and June. I just heard on WRAL news. No link yet. Will post when it becomes available. Bill Clinton last bought ad time in the state in 1992 race.
Why?
It might mean a couple of things:
- Seriously looking at John Edwards for Veep
- Iraq War and employment picture favor Democratic message
- The cynical view says they are just looking at buying time, not actually buying it, just to make Repubs spend more resources here.
I knew it! They think NC is in play!!! Let's give them every reason to think so!

| 2. Somebody here posted a recent NC poll that had bush @ just under 50% |

approval in the state.
I think NC is definitely in play (wish I could say the same about my neighboring SC), but only with the right VP pick.
I have real problems with Edwards re: Iraq, but I think Edwards on the ticket would spell doom for bush in NC, and the ripple effect could cause him problems here and in GA and other "bush country" states.

mentioned above. Here's the fun part: "It means North Carolina is potentially a state that could be moved off the Republican dime for the first time since 1976."http://www.wral.com/news/3277736/detail.html
