| Nickel Trophy: What should happen? |
|
This has been burning up the North Dakota press, so I ask the evil DUer contingent: Should the Nickee Trophy be the prize of a charity duel between the two schools? Should NDSU get a Hockey team?

| 1. I think it should go to the women's basketball teams |
|
Those were some awesome games this years between the two. (I don't normally watch or attend, but my kids' summer babysitter last summer was Leah Kablo).

| 2. It should stay with the champion |
|
which would be UND
The UND alumni association is already putting up the money for a traveling trophy for the annual "nickel wars" und/su fundraising competition.
They should get a hockey team, but they need facilities.

And if anyone visiting UND from another school sees it and asks what it is, UND can tell the truth and say it was a trophy for a rivalry that doesn't exist anymore. Then they won't give a damn, and thing UND is crazy, or something.:) UND can have it if they want it so much. I don't think we really give a damn anymore. We have bigger fish to fry.
We have the Dakota Marker to play for now. Bison/Jacks, baby.
