Smack me in the forehead but guess what I just figured out...Ohio voting issue;
In Ohio:
Obama maybe "packing the house" but the house guests, they are "empty shells" so to speak as they had to of been registered to vote 30 days PRIOR TO March 4th......or no later than February 3rd (which is a Sunday by the way....thus they needed to be registered by February 1st).
The Obama-mania didn't really begin to escalate until AFTER February 5th...SUPER-TUESDAY.
Now, we know a vast number of college students and/or the under 30 age group of both male/females, all racial groups, they don't typically plan ahead; especially a month ahead for voting registration which is not a priority over going to the Mall, The movies or even the Club on Saturday night.
The 30 and under groups, they function with the mind set wherein their life cycles around their paycheck deposit, what to do on the weekend and selecting a meal at the drive-up window.
I'm hedging my bets that new registered votes, reportedly motivated by Obama-wave, that they didn't take the time to look up the voting rules before registering. Heck, many don't even recall what day to vote.
So, they may indeed be registered NOW but can not vote on March 4th in the Ohio Primary.
