WARREN, Ohio - Federal agents arrested a one-time congressional candidate on a charge of plotting to have her husband killed.
Lawyer Maridee Costanzo of Warren was set for a court appearance Wednesday morning in Cleveland after her arrest Tuesday in the parking lot of Trumbull County Domestic Relations Court.
Costanzo paid a man $1,100 toward a $10,000 fee for arranging the killing of Roger Bauer, according to an FBI affidavit. Bauer was not harmed.
Police last month arrested Costanzo after a traffic stop. She and a man who was with her pleaded innocent to misdemeanor weapons charges.
