Some who have read my posts will remember that I have a Bush-apologizing co-worker. Funny thing was, he asked me a few days before the shoot if I was going down there. I admitted that I was.

So, here's the real fun part.

HIS DAUGHTER WENT DOWN WITHOUT TELLING HIM! Even made one of the pics in the paper.

He was considering trying to talk his wife into going to the shoot with him, but he didn't have the, er, nerve to do it.

Please also note, this is the guy who feels that Bush is doing the right thing in Iraq, and yet his military age son is hiding out in "college" instead of following in his father's glorious Vietnam-era footsteps. All the while, many of the left-leaning or moderate co-workers who oppose Bush have young relatives on the ground in Iraq, fighting for this guy's gas money.

I wonder how your co-worker feels now that his daughter's photo is in the paper.

He referred to one couple as "old hippies".
