Boscola's top aide shows off vocabulary

| The top aide to state Sen. Lisa Boscola issued a profanity-laced tirade against U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent and Democratic congressional candidate Sam Bennett last week on a popular Lehigh Valley blog.

Bernie Kieklak, signing his name ''Bernie Takes NO Prisoners,'' called Republican Dent a ''bag'' and referred to Bennett as ''a phony political w---- who … makes cheap, blatant political opportunities look like Mother Teresa.'' His rant also included references to sexual acts.

Reached for comment Tuesday, Boscola said Kieklak's remarks were ''totally unacceptable,'' but that he deserves a second chance. Pressed on whether she planned to discipline Kieklak, she said, ''What, do you want me to fire him now?''

Bennett, who heads an Allentown nonprofit group, is running for Dent's 15th Congressional District seat, which is up for election in 2008. Boscola, D-Northampton, is also considering a run for the Democratic nomination.
