It is sooooooo ironic that Regola is accused of perjury and false swearing after HE accused Allen Kukovich of being dishonest as part of the swiftboat campaign he ran in order to enable his "win".
And ha ha ha ha ha even Scaife's Tribune-Review, the paper that helped smear Allen, has to admit that these are the serious crimes of character that Regola has been charged with.

The charges:
• Perjury: Regola is accused of lying three times during a coroner's inquest when he testified that a 9 mm Taurus handgun he owned was not kept in the bedroom of his son, Robert Regola IV; that he moved the weapon from his son's bedroom because he was concerned about vagrants in the woods behind his home; and that he did not tell a state police officer his gun had been kept in his son's bedroom in early summer 2006 before moving it to his room for protection. The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.
• Possession of a firearm by minor: Police accused Regola of knowingly and intentionally delivering or providing a minor with a firearm that he possessed or transported. The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.
• Recklessly endangering another person: Regola is accused of keeping in his home a loaded handgun to which his 16-year-old son had access on several occasions. The misdemeanor charge carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison.
• False swearing: Regola is accused of making a false statement under oath when he did not believe the statement to be true. The misdemeanor charge carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison.
