I went to Fulton County (one of the few counties that had election results already) on the state Official election web site and while only one of 13 voting districts had so far reported the results were as follows (in a heavy GOP County):
name....................Total Votes. Percentage OBAMA, BARACK (DEM).....8......53.3% MCCAIN, JOHN (REP)........6......40.0% NADER, RALPH (IND)........0......0.0% BARR, BOB (LIB)..............1......6.7%
Attorney General Candidate..........................Votes....Percent MORGANELLI, JOHN M. (DEM).....3....20.0% CORBETT, TOM (REP)................6.....40.0% ROGERS, MARAKAY J. (LIB)........6......40.0%
Auditor General Candidate....................Votes....Percent WAGNER, JACK (DEM)..... 4......26.7% BEILER, CHET (REP).........5......33.3% SUMMERS, BETSY (LIB).....6......40.0%
State Treasurer Candidate....................Votes....Percent MCCORD, ROBERT (DEM)....1......7.7% ELLIS, TOM (REP)..............6.....46.2% ETZEL, BERLIE (LIB)..........6......46.2%
Representative in Congress 9th Congressional District Candidate..................Votes....Percent BARR, TONY (DEM)........10......66.7% SHUSTER, BILL (REP).....5...... 33.3%
I know the numbers are small (Total votes is only 15) but to have the GOP down in that county is surprising.
