Dem. Candidate in Special State Senate Race in E. PA. Asks for Help

There is a special election scheduled in northern Berks and Schuylkill Counties for an open State Senate seat. The Dem candidate for the seat is asking for help.

"Dear Friends,

My name is Steve Lukach. For the March 3rd Special Election, I am the Democratic candidate for the 29th State Senatorial District covering Schuylkill County and parts of Berks, Carbon, Lehign, Monroe, and Northampton Counties.

The tragic death of Senator Rhoades last fall has left a void of responsible representation. I have decided to meet this opportunity and extend my commitment to public service in the wake of this unexpected turn of events.

Like the hard-working people of the 29th Senatorial District, I have core principals of common sense and fundamental fairness. These principals and a strong work ethic will allow me to make a meaningful contribution to the well-being of Northeastern Pennsylvania in PA State Government.

I'm ready to fight for our wo rking families â€" to create more good-paying jobs, bring meaningful property tax reform, and make health care more affordable.
