Democratic booth. It is in front of the east end of the main hall. The bigger the crowd in front of our booth, versus the Repubs, the more fun!
We had very little supplies to open with on Saturday, unfortunately. Just one roll of the blue round Kerry stickers, which was gone by 1pm, because they were plastered all over fairground visitors. About 15 yards signs, gone by noon or earlier. But lots and lots of buttons.
Someone said the Kerry campaign in Harrisburg is supposed to bring us 1000 yard signs. I hope so. We really need them; demand is huge and people are getting really aggravated about lack of supply.
We had a lot of visitors.
Myself and another Dem working the booth noted the appropriateness of the difference between our booth and the Repubs booth which is about 30 feet away.
Repubs have a concession-style trailer. They are elevated above passersby, who remain 'in the street' and in the heat of the day. The Dems have a nice big tent. You come inside, we have chairs and shade. All of us on the same level. Ha!
